He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cleatus and Alta Ruth Goad (Killian); and his siblings, James E. "Jim" Goad and Lois Toler. He is survived by: his wife Helen Goad (Harper); his children, Jeff Goad (Beth) and Cindy Swaby (Scott); his grandchildren, Devan Goad (Kensey), Ben Swaby, Jessica Lengacher (Matt), Zach Goad (Carrie) and Wyatt Swaby; and his great grandchildren, Jaxon Doane, Paislee Doane, Leena Lengacher, Kentan Goad, Kolby Goad and Mara Goodwin.

The family wishes any memorial donations be made to the Parkinson Foundation in Don's name.
