He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry G. Sipes and Helen L. Sipes (Moore). He is survived by: his son A. J. Sipes (Alisha Mae Arthur); his grandchildren, Gracie Arthur and Joshua Arthur Jr.; and his sisters, Judy Sipes Lane (Ron) of Ellettsville and Debbie Sipes Blackwell (Danny) of Avon.
