He was predeceased by: his mother Marie Choate (Wright); and his brother Jeremy Choate. He is survived by: his father Allen Choate of Birdseye; his children, Heather Choate of Birdseye and Logan Choate of Birdseye; his sisters, Melissa Rickenbaugh (Adam) of Birdseye, Crystal Guth (Brad) of Santa Claus and Amy Wright (Eric) of Birdseye; and his granddaughter Brianna Choate.
