She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Nelson and Dessie Nelson (Jackson); her husband Richard E. Dooley Sr.; and her brother Donald Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Richard E. Dooley Jr. (Susie) of Birdseye, Doyle "Jack" Dooley (Kathy) of Birdseye, Doug Dooley of Birdseye, Greg Dooley (Heather Welp) of Birdseye, Larry Dooley of Grantsburg, IN., Donna Sandefer (Sandy) of Longview, TX., Deidra (Mark "Sparky" Johannemann) and Darla Rickenbaugh (Earl) of Birdseye. She is also survived by Twenty-six grandchildren, forty-eight great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Becher Funeral Home, Inc. (625 Main St, Ferdinand, IN 47532). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
