He is survived by: his wife Peggy Nordhoff of Birdseye, IN; his children, Yvonne Richardson Harrell of Bardstown, KY, David Richardson of Scottsburg, IN and Shawn Moore of Salem, IN; his grandchildren, Dyllan Grace of Scottsburg, IN, Cody Lawson of Scottsburg, IN, Colton Richardson of Scottsburg, IN, Alicia Aldridge of Scottsburg, IN and Layla Moore of Salem, IN; his great grandchildren, Xavier, Bryson, Brantley and Macie; his nieces and nephews, Nancy McCutcheon, Sherri O'Brian, Stacy Nordhoff, Chester Bayer Jr., Glen Bayer and Brent Lane; his brother Jim Blemker of Holland, IN; and his sister-in-law Ruby Lane of Birdseye, IN..
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nass & Son Funeral Home (208 Main St, Huntingburg, IN 47542). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at the Birdseye Cemetery (400 Elm St, Birdseye, IN 47513).
