She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Dow and Ethel Dora Blunk (Ridenour); her husband Thomas Edward; her son Timothy A.; her grandson Zachary K.; and her siblings, Walter, Allen and Melva Blunk.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Eugene of Birdseye, Larry (Mona) of Birdseye, Darlene Merkel (Kurt) of Birdseye, Dennis (Shonna) of Birdseye and Robert (Megan) of Memphis, Ind.; and her daughter-in-law Rachel Wright Porter of Bristow. She is also survived by grandchildren, (3) great-grandchildren.

“Charlotte and i started school at birdseye together and we were such good friends. I hated the last day of school so very much because that meant i would not see her until school started in september since she lived in the country and i lived in birdseye. She was the most kind and gentle human being that i ever came in contact with. Our lives changed dramatically when she was forced to go to school in crawford county. Rest in peace”
