She was predeceased by: her parents, Fidelis Prechtel and Emma Prechtel (Blume); her siblings, Anthony "Tony" Prechtel, Bernard Prechtel and Marie Schroeder; her stepsister Carolyn Prechtel; and her nephew Timothy Prechtel.
She is survived by: her niece Rita Schroeder of Huntingburg, IN. She is also survived by seven nieces, two nephews, eight great nieces, and seven great nephews.
