She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Brumett and Edith Ashby Brumett; her husband Robert A. "Bob" Schaefer; and her siblings, Rex Brumett, Bill Brumett, Morris Brumett, Margie Paterson and Delma Storey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Michelle Schaefer (Michael Lopez) of Prattville, AL, Sheryl Schaefer-Jones (John C. Jones) of Vincennes, IN and Rebecca Schaefer of Indianapolis, IN.; her grandchildren, Schaefer Marie Jones, Robert Avery Jones, Scarlett Swindle and Keaton Schaefer; and her brother Gerald "Cork" Brumett of French Lick, IN..
