He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel "Sam" Sanders and Clara Tapley Sanders (Herschel Goodson); his wife Dorothy Goodson; his children, Chris, Lori Sanders, Eric, Laura Sanders, Tyler and Kristi Sanders; his grandchildren, Joel, Carson, Avery, Braylen, MaKyla and Emma; his nephew Gary Wayne Sanders; his brother Jim Toole; and his brother-in-law Mark Hansen.
He is survived by: his siblings, Charlotte Hansen, Sam Sanders (Rita), Gary Sanders (Marie), Dute Sanders (Janet), Sandy Evans (Steve), Frank Tewell (Diane) and Jenne Tewell.
