He was predeceased by: his parents, Keneth Eugene and Bernita Beulah Bare (Chesnut); his wife Emily "Helderman" Bare (Helderman); his siblings, Ronnie Joe Bare, Kenneth Bare (Buddy), Wanda Burress, Brenda K Volling and Wilma Dean Abel; and his stepson Ricky Harsha.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie Joe Bare (Candace) of Birch Run, MI and Teresa Baize of Bicknell, IN; his sister Nancy Padgett of Westphalia, IN.; and his stepchildren, Larry Harsha of Edwardsport In, Linda Evinger of Glendale In, Mike Harsha of Sandborn In, David Harsha of Vincennes In, Terry Harsha of Freelandville In, Brenda Bennett of Bruceville In and Carolyn Sue Broady of Wheatland In. He is also survived by thirty-five grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren and 27 Great Great Grandchildren.
