It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Payne of Bicknell, Indiana, who passed away on December 22, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Payne and Snowful Payne (Riggle); his wife Virginia Racey; and his siblings, John Payne, Arthur Payne and Joann Rall.
He is survived by: his children, Leila Drogich (Nick) of Bicknell, Danetta Strate (Max) of Sullivan and Leslie Payne (Shelley) of Bicknell; and his siblings, Charles Weslie Payne of Westphalia, Ardella Smith of Vincennes, Betty Racey of Bicknell, Ruthie Bryant of Jacksonville, Zuella Stremming of Petersburg and Carolyn Payne of Vincennes. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
