She was predeceased by: her parents, Elma Forman Fowler and Peter Fowler; her husband Preceding; and her siblings, Betty Seaton, Pete Fowler Jr. and William Fowler (Billy).
She is survived by: her children, Donald Wayne Privett of Indianapolis and Jane Ellen Privett Covert (Ronald) of Wake Forest, NC; her grandchildren, Melissa Covert Neal (Glen) of Lenoir, NC, Ryan Covert (Valerie) of Hope Mills, NC and Sarah Covert Terry of Wake Forest, NC; her great grandchildren, Kyleigh Ellen Neal, Anderson Edward Terry and Lawson Andrew Terry; her aunt Betty Huse; and her close friend Emerson Hess.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Wampler Shaw Chapel (118 Washington St, Bicknell, IN 47512). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
