He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Eugene Agler and Nora E. Gilliland; his wife Kathleen J. Dubach; his sister Patricia Spriggs; and his daughter-in-law Jane Agler.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Agler of Berne, IN, Terri Agler of Berne, IN, Lisa Wrightsman of Indianapolis, IN and Beth Rudolph (Rodney) of Dumfries, VA; his sister Janet Hines of Van Wert, OH; and his grandchildren, Alicia A. Agler, Joanie Agler, Jason Agler, Zachary Wrightsman, Alex Wrightsman and Bridgette Rudolph.
He was a member of the Swiss Heritage Society, the Indiana State Teachers Association, the Civil War Trust Fund, and the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.
