It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Liechty of Berne, Indiana, who passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Liechty and Dessie M. Liechty (McCune); his wife Sandra L. Strickler; his sister Julia Beitler (Robert); his brother-in-law Loren Moser; and his granddaughters, Marissa and Katelyn Liechty.
He is survived by: his children, Scott J. Liechty (Marlene) of Midland, MI, Troy S. Liechty (Kristen) of Fort Wayne, IN, Rev. Brent C. Liechty (Loretta) of Orrstown, PA and Teresa "Terri" Liechty of Berne, IN; his sister Grace Moser of Berne, IN; his siblings-in-law, Ron Kelley of Decatur, IN and Lyn Strickler of Decatur, IN; and his grandchildren, Steven, Kristen, Lauren, Megan, Laurelei, Susanna and Gabriel Liechty.
