He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlie Ellenberger and Elva Ellenberger (Brewster); his son Larry Huffman; and his brother Kenneth Ellenberger. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ellenberger of Berne, IN; his children, Lois Dobbs (Ray) of Las Vegas, NV, Nancy Ostheimer (Ozzie) of Fort Wayne, IN, Brenda Brazill of Fort Wayne, IN, Doug Ellenberger (Laurie) of Romney, IN and Scott Ellenberger (Brenda) of Columbia City, IN; his stepchildren, Janeen Hutchins of Corpus Christi, TX and Jeff Whitehurst (Shelly) of Zephyrhills, FL; and his siblings, Jerome Ellenberger (Shirley) of Geneva, IN and Coleen McCullough of Geneva, IN. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Preferred memorials can be given to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation or Alzheimer's Research.
