He was predeceased by: his parents, Omen Amstutz and Selma Amstutz (Hirschy); his former spouse Eldonna Habbegger; and his siblings, Paul, Edward, Jim Amstutz and Mary Brewster.
He is survived by: his wife Hannah Amstutz (Habegger) of Berne, Indiana; his children, Michael Amstutz of Fort Wayne, Randall Amstutz (Michele) of Berne, Indiana and Debra Wilson of Berne, Indiana; his stepchildren, Charlotte Hedrick of LaFountain, Jane Millhouse (Ed) of Garrett, Theresa Brown of Berne, Indiana and Henry Schaadt (Penny) of Berne, Indiana; his siblings, Robert Amstutz (Sarah) of California and Carolyn Christner of Decatur, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Schwartz (James), Zach Wilson (Cristy), Aaron Amstutz, Amber Amstutz, Austin Amstutz (Tabitha) and Ashley Amstutz (Alena). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren.
