She was predeceased by: her parents, Mahlon E. Hartzler and Verda M. Hartzler (Zook); her sister-in-law Verna Sprunger; her son-in-law Pierre Gant; her parents-in-law, Elmer and Bertha Baumgartner; her brother Donavon; her sister-in-law Ellen Hartzler; her sister Donita; and her siblings-in-law, Edward Brookmyer, Elaine, Dale Lantz, Marjorie, Noel Sprunger, Eddyth, Wayne Reusser and Roger Sprunger.
She is survived by: her husband Howard Baumgartner of Berne; her daughters, Barbra J. Gant (James Myers) and Jean; her son-in-law Wendell Miller of Bluffton, Ohio; her daughter Joyce; her son-in-law Marvin Hall of State College, Pennsylvania; her son James; her daughter-in-law Naomi Baumgartner of Goshen, Indiana; her son David; and her daughter-in-law Tanya Baumgartner of Berne.
Preferred memorials are to be made to Swiss Village Samaritan Fund, Bluffton University or Mennonite Central Committee.
