He is survived by: his grandchild Lake Pleasant; his children, Michael Brandon Wendel (Shenelle), Indiana Charles E. Wendel (Sarina), Indiana Justin A. Wendel (Brenda) and Alisa A. Blount (Ryan); and his brother Charles A. Wendel. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, 1 great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
