She was predeceased by: her parents, William Troxel and Ida Meyer Troxel; her husband Dr. Frederick F. Sprunger; and her siblings, Ralph, Kenneth, William, Willard Troxel, Alice, Marjorie Troxel and Evelyn Meyer.

She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Sprunger (Gail) of Buda, TX and Derek Sprunger (Lisa) of Indianapolis; her brother Dwight Troxel (Beverly) of Bluffton; her grandchildren, Crystal Kurek (Michael), Heather Handrigan (Paul), Amber Wirtala (Joseph), Caroline Sprunger and Frederick Sprunger; and her great grandchildren, Violet, Willow Kurek and Jacob Wirtala.
