He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zurcher Sr. and Aldena Zurcher (Ebnit); and his siblings, Harry Zurcher, Florine Zurcher, Esther Zurcher, Floyd Zurcher, Elizabath Wickland, Leonard Zurcher, Norman Zurcher and Allen Zurcher.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadine Zurcher of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; his children, Steven Zurcher (Lynn) of Fernandina Beach, Florida, Deryll Zurcher (Bonnie) of Geneva, Indiana, Janita Dye (Marcus) of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Stuart Zurcher (Julie) of Newton, Iowa; and his sisters-in-law, Connie Zurcher of Fort Wayne, Carol Zurcher of Huntington and Margaret Zurcher of Indianapolis, Indiana. He is also survived by 1 great-great-grandchild.
For the protection of Bernadine, the family asks that all who come wear masks.
