She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Byerly and Alta Byerly (Barger); her siblings, Ronald Byerly, Delores Landis and Marjorie Byerly; and her granddaughter Nichole "Nikki" Summersett.
She is survived by: her husband Loren L. Liechty of Berne, IN; her children, Terry Liechty of Decatur, IN, Gary Liechty (Betty), William "Bill" Liechty (Margaret) and Penelope "Penny" Haines (Steve); her siblings, Barbara Nussbaum of Berne, IN and Wayne Byerly of Decatur, IN; and her grandchildren, Ben Liechty (Rebeccah), Luke Liechty (Amy), Tammy Meyer (Nathan), Jason Liechty (Maggie), James Liechty (Lauren), Nichole Summersett (Nikki Haines) and Justin Haines (Carson). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
