He was predeceased by: his parents, John Flueckiger and Ella Scare (Gerber); his daughter Beth Maag; his brother David Scare; his stepfather Karl Scare; and his sister-in-law Kathryn Esibell Scare.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Flueckiger of Berne, Indiana; his sons, Mark Flueckiger (Kim) of Huntington, Indiana and David Flueckiger (Debbie) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his siblings, Charles Lane (Connie) of Bryant, Indiana, Elmer Scare of Geneva, Indiana, Phil Scare (Teresa) of Waterloo and Elmyra Wolfe of Decatur, Indiana; his grandchildren, Erica Kirchner, Kelcey Zaugg, Joy Miller, Calvin Flueckiger, Tyler Flueckiger and Taylor Flueckiger; and his great grandchildren, Kaidon Flueckiger, Braxten Kirchner, Bohden Kirchner, Logan Kirchner, Degan Kirchner, Kacyn Zaugg, Kreighten Zaugg, Kashden Zaugg and Kixley Zaugg.
