With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Howard D. Zuercher of Berne, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Zuercher and Leona Zuercher (Lehman); his wife Dixie Lloyd; his son David Zuercher; and his siblings, Cliffton Zuercher, James Zuercher, Arthur Zuercher, Gary Zuercher, Paul Zuercher, Samuel Zuercher, Rowene Whitsler, Martha Schug and Pauline Solano.
He is survived by: his children, Bradley Zuercher (Therese) of Brighton, Colorado, Debra Parr (Robert) of Eaton, Indiana and Dana Schwartz (David Zuercher) of Berne, Indiana; and his sister Marilyn Graham of South Roxana, Illinois. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Swiss Village Chapel (1350 W Main St, Berne, IN 46711).
Preferred memorials can be given to the Northeast Indiana Honor Flight.
