He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Simon and Alma Simon (Stewart); his daughter Cindy Marie Simon; his sister-in-law Lori Simon; his son-in-law Larry Forgacs; and his brothers-in-law, Henry Addington, Robert Crandall and Larry Whittenbarger.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Simon (Hart); his daughters, Annette (Skip) and Betty; his stepchildren, Robert Randy (Denise) and Jeanette Lepine (John Echeard) of California; and his sisters, Louise Addington, Jean Crandall and Norma Whittenbarger. He is also survived by 7 Step Grandchildren, and 1 Great Grandson.
