It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward W. Mason of Berne, Indiana, who passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edward W. Mason to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Mason and Edna Irene Mason (Tumbleson); and his sister Karen Sharp. He is survived by: his wife Karen Mason of Berne, Indiana; his daughters, Kimberly Hoch (Don) of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Candace Hays (Tim) of Whitestown, Indiana; his siblings, Jerry Mason (Beverly) of Carmel, Indiana and Janice Tomano (Daniel) of Berne, Indiana; his brother-in-law Anthony "Tony" Sharp of Berne, Indiana; his grandchildren, Ryan Hoch (Melissa) of Fort Wayne, Brittany Nifong (Jared) of Fort Wayne, Nathan Hays (Bria) of Chesterton and Tyler Hays (Rachel) of Whitestown, Indiana; and his great grandchildren, Brennen Hoch, Taylor Hoch, Lakelyn Nifong, Lawson Nifong, Declan Hays, Camden Hays and Thomas Hays.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Missionary Church (950 US Hwy 27, Berne, IN 46711). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Preferred memorials can be given to Swiss Village Samaritan Fund or First Missionary Church.
