It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolee L. Nussbaum of Berne, Indiana, born in Dailey, West Virginia, who passed away on October 3, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Clancy Loudin; her former husband Lawrence "Larry" Roop; her daughter-in-law Roxanne Roop; her granddaughter Jessica Roop; her brothers, Howard Loudin and Roscoe Loudin; and her stepchildren, Ronald David Nussbaum and Kathy Kuhn.

She is survived by: her husband David W. Nussbaum of Berne, Indiana; her children, Michael Roop (Sheila) of Decatur, Jeff Roop (Sandy) of Geneva, Indiana and Karen Thowsen (Tom) of Henderson, Nevada; her stepdaughters, Nancy Mock of Berne, Indiana and Michelle Sealscott (Chris) of Berne, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Doug Roop (Kayli), Chelsey Neal (Jordan), Jeff Roop (Jackie) and Isaac Roop. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and 11 step-grandchildren.

Preferred memorials are to Agape Respite Care.
