He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Otto Patterson and Leola Patterson (Bryan); his stepfather Walter Reynolds; his son Ronald W. Patterson; and his sisters, Delores Patch and Helen Joyce Bruner.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Patterson (Myers) of Berne, IN; his children, Rick Patterson (Natalie) of Berne, IN, Carolyn Springer of Fort Wayne, IN and Rhonda Hayes; his daughter-in-law Kathie Patterson of Berne, IN; and his sister Delee Mattax of Fort Wayne, IN. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 10 and Great Grandchildren.
