He was predeceased by: his parents, David Neuenschwander and Catherine Neuenschwander (Amstutz); his wife Mabel Miller; his daughter-in-law Kay Neuenschwander; his granddaughter Brenda Battice; and his siblings, Phillip, Simon, David, Vilas, William, Daniel Neuenschwander, Caroline Neuenschwander, Lydia Neuenschwander, Laura Sprunger and Mary Ann Beer.
He is survived by: his sons, Charles "Chuck" Neuenschwander (Shirley) of Ossian, Indiana, Keith Neuenschwander (Cindy) of Goshen, Indiana and David Neuenschwander (Becky) of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; his brothers, Paul Neuenschwander of Berne and Howard Neuenschwander of Berne; and his grandchildren, Tom Neuenschwander (Laura), Kristy Neuenschwander, Jim Neuenschwander (Amanda), Wesley Denson (Meaghan), Bryant Denson, Kaitlyn Denson and Kiante Neuenschwander. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
