He is survived by: his wife Teresa Jones of Bennington; his children, Joseph Ruffin, Jr. (Stephanie) of Palmer and Lori Roach of North Port, Florida; his siblings, Joyce L. Smith, Frederick Ruffin and Rick L. Ruffin; and his grandchildren, Samuel J., Rachel L. and Brooklynn R. Ruffin.
