He was predeceased by: his wife Nettie L. Blodgett (Cox); his children, Richard C. "Rick" Blodgett and JoAnne Blodgett; his parents, Charles Benjamin Blodgett and Pearl Mae Blodgett (Stout); and his brothers, Charles E. Blodgett, David Paulmer Blodgett, Dawson E. Blodgett, Maurice Lee Blodgett, Samuel Morton Blodgett and Ralph Wesley Blodgett.
He is survived by: his son Donald Blodgett of Bennington, Indiana; his daughter-in-law Martha Ann Blodgett (Werner); his grandchildren, Max Blodgett (Amber) of Great Falls, Montana and Carrie Blodgett of Canaan, Indiana; and his great grandchildren, Griffin Blodgett, Cole Blodgett, Kaven Blodgett, Gabe Blodgett and Dale Blodgett. He is also survived by his several nieces and nephews.
