She was predeceased by: her parents, James Clay Ficklin and Dolores Mae Ficklin (Johnson); her brother Ronald Ficklin; her husband George Hauk; her daughter Debra Lynn Dossey; and her grandson John Nicholas Dossey.

She is survived by: her great grandchild Felix Douglas Violette; her daughters, Dolores Johnson (Roger), Dawn Spears (Doug) and Diana Renollet (Brian); her grandchildren, Daniel, Michael, JoAnna, Matthew, Justin, Rachael, Travis, Alison, JuliAnna, Robert, David and Jordon; and her brother Edward Lee Ficklin.
