He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Anna Crone (Strahl) and Gilbert Crone; his wife Terry Lynn Crone (Johns); and his children, Jeffrey Crone (Pam), John Crone (Cece), Stacey Richardson (Carey), Eric Spoonamore, Tammy Clark (Richard) and Jordan Crone (Fawn). He was also cherished by 20 grandchildren.
