He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Gardner and Edna Gardner (Massey); and his siblings, Betty Gardner and Charles Gardner. He is survived by: his wife Thelma "Jean" Gardner; and his children, Richard Gardner (Debra), Suzanne Marinakes (Andrew), Sally Patberg (Eric), Carrie Fowler (Larry) and Melissa Curry. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
