He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Marlin and Lorene Stout. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Stout; his children, April, Justin and Kyle Stout (Crystal); his grandchildren, Ethan and Peyton Stout; and his brothers, Steve (Pandora), David (Karin) and Donald Stout. He is also survived by brother-in-law, nephews, and nieces.
He will be remembered as a legend (aka "Mr. Amtrak") for his contributions to Amtrak for years to come.
