William Collins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Collins of Bedford, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 14, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Yancy Collins and Frances Elizabeth Collins (McLaughlin); his former spouse Billie Hammack; his spouse Lee Etta Wade; his daughters, Terry Lynn Collins and Anita Darlene Collins; and his brother Harrison Dean Collins.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Pam Melvin (Randy) of Bedford, Leroy Wade of Bedford and Jerry Wade (Kim) of Mitchell; and his sisters, Shirley Tolliver of Anderson, Nancy Davis of Bedford and Carolyn Beasley of Martinsville. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren; one step-greatgrandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Day & Carter Mortuary (1133 Lincoln Ave, Bedford, IN 47421). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
