She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Hicks and Mary Fay Hicks (Young); her husband Dale B. Deckard; her son Dennis Dale Deckard; her siblings, Roberta Young and Stanley Eugene Hicks; and her half-sister Matilda Selph.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Corbin (Bruce) of Bloomington and Terry Deckard (Peggy) of Bedford; her daughter-in-law Jonna Deckard of Bedford; her grandchildren, Brandon Deckard (Nikki), Whitney Harrison (Toby), Brian Corbin (Missy Devillez), Amy Silvernail (Steven), Jerod Jennings (Chelsey) and Ryan Deckard; and her great grandchildren, Griffin, Anna Deckard, Blayne, Brylee, Braylen Harrison, Joel, Eli, Zachary, Isaiah Silvernail, Maritt and Elouise Jennings. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
