He is survived by: his wife Emogene Chastain of Bedford; his children, Calvin Chastain of Mitchell and Rosetta Knight of Mitchell; and his brother Clyde Chastain, Jr. of Orleans. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren 5 great grandchildren 6 great great grandchildren.
