He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernie W. Adams, Sr. and Gertrude Adams (Barnett); his daughter Linda Sue Adams; and his siblings, Robert Adams, Alice Adams, Phyllis Reichard and Alma Faine.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Lewis; his sons, Vern Adams (Susan) of New River, AZ, Steve Adams of Edmond, OK and Mike Adams (Giselle) of Pleasanton, CA; and his grandchildren, Vernon Adams (Kat) of Castle Pines, CO, Becka Adams of Sherman Oaks, CA, Ryan Adams of Oklahoma City, OK, Emily Adams of Oklahoma City, OK, Gavin Adams and Morgan Adams of Pleasanton, CA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
