He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Rayle and Emma "Jean" Puitt; his sister Marjorie "Sue" Dausch; and his nephew Scott Burns. He is survived by: his wife Judy Ashcraft of Bedford; his daughter Kelley Rayle of Cary, NC; and his brother Jim Rayle of Bedford.
