She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Smith and Zalaya Smith (Kinser); her husband Charles R. Sowders; and her siblings, Fred, Don, Pete, Steve, Linda, Gloria Smith and Bonnie Sykes.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Sowders of Bedford and Doug Sowders of Bedford; her grandchildren, BreOnna Charles of Bedford and Wyatt Sowders of Bedford; and her siblings, Pat Eads (Ralph) of Heltonville, Trish Smith (Russell "Cut") and Kevin Smith of Bedford.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Day & Carter Mortuary (1133 Lincoln Ave, Bedford, IN 47421). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
