He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Coulter Jr. and Ruby Coulter (Beasley); and his brothers, Paul "Sonny" Coulter and Larry Coulter. He is survived by: his wife Diane Cox of Bedford; his son Cody Coulter (Heather) of Bedford; his grandchildren, Elexis, Logan and Owen Coulter; and his brother Robert Coulter of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
