It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Sowder of Bedford, Indiana, who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Deckard and Lavonia Deckard (Phillips); her spouse Farrell Dean Sowder; and her brothers, Don Deckard and Marvin Deckard.
She is survived by: her children, Cami Terry (Mike) of Bedford and Doug Sowder of Bedford; her grandchildren, Zach Terry (Kristen), Riley Purlee (Weston), Alex Terry and Ethan Sowder; her great grandchild Emmy Terry; and her sister June Hammond.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary (1133 Lincoln Ave, Bedford, IN 47421).
