It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Joseph Hanners (Bedford, Indiana), who passed away on December 1, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leonard and Emma Edna Hanners (Brown); and his siblings, Leonard, Lionel, Jim Hanners, Barbara Anderson, Delema Reed, Rebecca Guilkey and Theresa Beedie.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Mitchell of Williams; his sons, Sammy (Tip) of Paoli and Scott of Williams; his grandchildren, Dianda, Casey, Michael and Samson; his great grandchildren, Joey of Drayson, C. J. and Shannondoah; his sister Sandra Lindsey; and his nephews, Bill, Mark, Michael, Kyle, Buzzy, Darren and Tim. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
