She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Luther Fredrick Kern and Thelma Eileen Kern (Trisler). She is survived by: her husband Roger Wentle DeKoker of Bedford; her children, Jennifer L. Alexander (Keith) of Sellersburg and Ronald B. DeKoker of Bedford; her grandson Aaron Alexander; and her siblings, Fred Kern, Bob Kern, Nikki Wagner, Myra Wilson, Marvin Kern, Sherry Wade and Scott Kern. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
