She was predeceased by: her parents, Avy Sherlock and Iona Sherlock (Connor); her former husband Gerald Vernon Eads; her husband Boyd Heltenburg; her daughter Rita Gayle Grove; her stepson Jack Heltenburg; her granddaughter Julie Eads; and her daughter-in-law Nancy Eads.
She is survived by: her sons, Roger Eads (Patricia) of Oolitic and Gerald Eads (Brandy) of North Vernon; her stepson Reece Heltenburg of Bedford; and her siblings, Phyllis Hunter of Bedford, Louise Jones of Bedford and David Sherlock of Bloomington. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and at 3:00 PM at the Day & Carter Mortuary (1133 Lincoln Ave, Bedford, IN 47421). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
