She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Owens and Viola Owens (Simmerman); her spouse Noel Gene "Jake" Mitchell; and her sister Vergilla Roberts. She is survived by: her children, Mark Mitchell (Denise) of Morgantown, Jennifer Shirley (Nelson) of Bedford, Jill Brandon (Parkes) of Nashville, TN and Penny Cobb (John) of Springville; her grandchildren, Molly Mitchell, Christina Thompson, Andrea Rainey, Joseph Brandon (Jaime), David, Michael Brandon, Jordan Cobb, Allie Evans (Damian), Adrea Simmerman (Justin Smith), Alaina Shirley (Anthony Zrebiec) and Alex Shirley (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Gwennyth Thompson, Damian Fetscher, Aidan, Katie Thompson, Marea Enochs (Kris Earl), Lilly Enochs, Joslynn Chastain, Josiah Cobb, Madalynn Cobb, Elliott Evans, Jacob Simmerman, Jacey Simmerman and Madison Smith; her brother Jerome Owens (Margie); and her sister-in-law Sharon Mitchell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that all attendees wear masks.
