He is survived by: his former wife Kim Mitchell; his children, Renae Mitchell of Bedford, IN, Roger Eugene Mitchell, Jr. of Mooresville, IN, Troy Mitchell of Bedford, IN and Cory Mitchell of Bedford, IN; and his grandchildren, Austin Early, Cody Early, Kendra Early, Hollie Mitchell, Justin Mitchell, Broden Mitchell and Jaxon Mitchell.
