With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Warren Herr of Bedford, Indiana, who passed away on October 20, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Herr and Naomi Herr (Humbaugh); and his siblings, Randall Herr and Sharon McPike. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Karen Hembree (Fred) of New Palestine, Jonathan Herr (Joni) of Vincennes, Robert Herr (LeAnn) of Bedford, Christa Fulkerson (Brandon) of Bedford, Mike Simpson (Jackie) of Fishers, Troy Simpson (Shannon) of Bedford and Kenny Simpson of Bedford; his grandchildren, Thomas Herr (Danielle), Stephen Hembree (Tori), Justin Hembree (Priyanka), Nathan, Morgan Herr, Grace, Gabe Fulkerson, Ashle'Stalder (Derrick), Kenneth Scott Simpson (Amanda) and Grant Simpson; his sister Sara LuAllen; his siblings-in-law, Shirley Herr and David McPike; his nephews, Mike Eshbach (Melissa) and Evan; and his niece Emily. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Ferguson-Lee Chapel for the creation of a scholarship in the name of Bob & Phyllis Herr.
