He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Halstead and Lena Ray (Johnson); and his siblings, Monte Williams, George Williams, Lester Halstead, Violet Williams, Jack Halstead, Betty Grimes, Jerry Halstead and Patty Halstead.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Prince of Bedford; his children, Anita Riley of Columbus, Robert Halstead (Susan) of Columbus, Brandon Halstead (Tabitha) of Columbus, Troy Carter of Heltonville, Kristina McIntire (Jerry) of Greene Co and Tami Carter of Bloomington; his siblings, Bud Halstead of Bedford and Beverly Summit of Stinesville, IN; and his grandchildren, Sean Halstead, Megan Parsley, Anna Halstead, Allison Halstead, Amber Halstead, John Robertson, Lindsey Riley, Michael Riley, Bradley Carter, Brittany Carter, Jeremy McIntire, Athina Harper, Joshua McIntire, Jerrod McIntire, Kalynn Carter, Kaleb Carter and Kaleigh Carter. He is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Day & Carter Mortuary (1133 Lincoln Ave, Bedford, IN 47421). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
