With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert E. Speer of Bedford, Indiana, who passed away on March 26, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lavon Diestelkamp Speer; his parents, Robert F. Speer and Alice Marie Speer (Inman); and his siblings-in-law, Leslie and Alice Wright Diestelkamp.
He is survived by: his children, Tanja Guyer (Dan) of Winchester, KY, Reneé Guyer (Dawson) of Danville, IN, Benita Allan (Dennis) of Jarinu, Brazil, Dawn Thompson (Peter) of Madison, IN, Rob Speer (Becky) of Rockford, IL and Kyle Speer (Tawnie) of Orange, CA; and his sister Beverly McKinney (Fred). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren.
